A Natural View
The Gaston County Art Guild, in collaboration with Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, presents A Natural View; a juried exhibit celebrating the beauty of wildlife and natural landscapes. While this theme allows for diverse artistic interpretations, submitted works should capture the essence, complexity, and wonder of nature, inviting viewers to observe and appreciate it with fresh perspective and admiration.
Art in the Park
The City of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department and the Iredell Arts Council are excited to welcome artists, makers, and the community to our annual Art in the Park Festival!Set beneath the shady trees of Martin Luther King Jr. Park this vibrant festival brings together local artisans, live music, food trucks, breweries, and family-friendly fun.
Mentors & Guiding Hands Juried Exhibition
The “Mentors and Guiding Hands” will be an in-person juried exhibition running from May 3 – June 12, 2025 at the Visual and Performing Arts Center (VAPA) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This exhibition seeks to celebrate the profound impact of mentors and the helping hands that shape our personal and professional journeys. Whether it is a teacher, a family member, a friend, a community servant or leader, mentors play a crucial role in fostering growth, inspiration, and support.
Exhibit Closing Reception: "SEEN" - Large Scale Multimedia Portrait Exhibit
25 artists create stunning portraits using paint, collage, sculpture, photography, dance & spoken word. Event includes Artist Guided Tour.
Event Details:
5:00-5:30PM: Cocktails/Meet & Greet
5:30PM: Vision Elite Royalty dancers perform Jane Johnsons Portrait
6:00-7:00PM: Artist Guided Tour
7:00: Boris "Bluz" Rogers perform spoken word portrait accompanied by live paint interpretation.
7:30-8:00: Cocktails/Meet & Greet continued
Twilight Among the Azaleas Art Social & Auction
The annual Twilight Among the Azaleas Art Social and Auction benefitting the fine arts program at Pioneer Springs Community School will take place at the Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs’ Betty Little House, and they’d love for you to join the fun!
